World's biggest airplane first time at Athens!

The only Antonov AN-225 Mriya (=dream) of Antonov Design Bureau during its first visit at Athens International Airport on 2 October 2005.

The purpose of the flight was the air transport of four (4) huge electric generators of General Electric, from Athens, Greece to Dallas TX, to assist the State after Category 5 storm - Hurricane Katrina disaster.

The Antonov An-225 Mriya those days was still in old colors.
