Beautiful Restoration of a 100 Year Old Carpenter's Tool

In this week's restoration and repair video, we restore, repair, and revive a 100 - 120 year old rusty carpenter's bevel tool. It's hard to pinpoint exact years of manufacture but I found an advertisement from 1917 with it listed so we will go with 100 years! It was in working condition but was incredibly crusty with rust and old shellac. We refinished the rosewood handle, brass plated the steel face plates and hardware, and re-blued the steel blade to return it to its original specs. I truly feel that this is one of the more beautiful pieces that I have restored yet.
