Master Bedroom Closet Organization on a Budget: Before & After

I think this is my most embarrassing video yet! My master closet had become a jumbled mess where everything just got thrown into if it didn’t have another home. Like I mentioned, we re-purposed my old childhood dresser by breaking it apart and using the drawers for storage and to build the shelving onto. You could do this with an old dresser you might already have or by purchasing one from a yard sale or Goodwill. Doing this was much cheaper than buying an expensive closet system would've been.

I also used bins and baskets that I already had except for the chevron tote from Hobby Lobby. The only new thing I had to purchase was more shoe boxes from The Container Store.

One thing I failed to mention are the AMAZING hangers I use. We use Huggable Hangers that you can purchase from HSN.com. The Dollar Tree also has a version as does Target and Bed Bath and Beyond. They keep things from falling off the hanger and don't create those weird “shoulder bumpies.”
