Mohammed Riyas Holds Beypore! 🔥 CPI(M) Survives Strong UDF Challenge | Kerala 2026

In the 2026 Kerala Legislative Assembly election, Beypore witnessed a high-profile contest as P. A. Mohammed Riyas retained the seat for the Communist Party of India (Marxist).

Riyas secured 81,849 votes (44.21%), winning despite a decline in vote share.

P. V. Anvar mounted a strong challenge for the UDF, securing 74,362 votes (40.16%) and significantly increasing the opposition vote share.

K. P. Prakash Babu of the Bharatiya Janata Party received 26,543 votes (14.34%).
