900HP V8: Scania 141 Race Truck //*SOUND* *Walkaround* *Torpedo*

Today I'm gonna show you something you don't see everyday... And maybe you won't see anywhere else.

Last Saturday I've had the pleasure to join the Volmer Truck team ( http://www.volmertruck.hu/ ) and check their latest purchase- which is also one of my childhood dream trucks.

This lorry is a 1982 Scania 141 Torpedo (badged as 145 somehow, but only a Scania historian could explain why) tuned and modified for racing. Now the truck has loud side pipes and loud stacks, a 10-speed range-shifter gearbox, full-leather interior, extra lights, new paintjob and at least 900 HP of power. It also has a Nitrous system, which you can see in the video. This truck has won several truck drag races around Hungary and Middle-Europe. I've seen it first in 2009 and it's actually the first video on my channel ( https://youtu.be/rNJ3EjcBYoY ).

In this video I'll show you around this crazy thing, first with some sound over the different pipes, then walking around and showing a few details (while the engine is idling, but at a certain point I'll give it some gas) and finally more sound plus some driving. Note that I will upload more driving footage soon, so stay tuned and be subscribed. ;)
