TFCon LA 2025

Sup ya'll,

Went to tfcon this weekend, well mainly Saturday. I went back in to grab some more footage of the convention floor and my adhd kicked in when my buddy Steve came back a second time to meet me on the floor. I also felt bad filming any of the talent at their booths because so many people were standing in line waiting for pictures or photo ops, autographs, etc. So I felt some type of way about filming in that area. Granted these are amazing personalities, at the end of the day they're still people in this economy trying to make a buck to survive.

I ran into John Moschitta Jr, while he was looking for his booth, dressed like a total grandpa with his tommy bahama shirt on and some athletic pants and house shoes. I wanted to ask for a pic but didn't want to break protocol. I've only been to TF con 1 year prior so I dunno all the rules, etc. By the time I had a chance to go find him again they moved his booth :( Hopefully I'll see him next year.

Every celebrity at these events means something different to everyone else, for me John is really the standout from everyone who's worked on transformers because of his presence on television in the 80's-90's.

Didn't find all the bots I was looking for but thats all good, you can always order stuff online. The whole point of toy hunting is the journey of how a figure made it from wherever it came from to your shelf.

And I think when people look back on their collections and they talk about getting a figure they lost or had a significant impact on them as a collectors item. It may have not so much been how it was acquired but how they came to own it. But lets not make this longer than need be.

No chapters for this one cause I'm just yappin, wish I got more footage for you guys.

Peace
