Cardistry Tutorial — Presque Vu

I filmed this back in late summer when Organic Playing Cards released their Squeezers v2 in conjunction with Alex's Lemonade Stand. We never uploaded this on either channel, but I felt that with the global quarantine you all might enjoy learning something.

In comparison to my own moves, I consider this to be a more intermediate cut. Though it's probably more accurate to say this is a touch more advanced than most intermediate tutorials you see on this site. The difficulty in this cut lies in the fact that most of the grips are unconventional and may not appear to have a natural flow. As I explain in the tutorial, the mechanical construction of the cut does lend itself to a particular natural flow, but this may seem unintuitive to some learning it for the first time. For this reason, I highly recommend you first learn the flow exactly how I teach it before you attempt to add your own stylistic details. Watch the tutorial as much as you can and take my word for it that once you understand how to correctly incorporate the offgrips and regrips into the flow, you'll develop an intuition that allows you to add your own flow to the performance.

As usual, it's time for a bit of history: This was actually one of, if not the first cut I created (my memory gets a bit hazy with cuts from that time). Back in mid-2015, I'd been doing cardistry for about 6 months and I had this cut minus the closer. Luckily, I happened to see a cut by Hisnent (one of my all-time biggest inspirations) where he closed packets at the end like a book. I simply took his closer and made a slightly "flow-ier" version for my own cut.
