Adding My Second Honey Super #beekeeping #bee

This video is about the growth of my bee colonies that were purchased as NUCs in April 2025 here on Paps Country Farm. Checking the waxed hives every 7-10 days to see their progress has become quite exciting. Bee colonies grow very fast, so there is a need to put honey supers on top to help out with living space and for honey to be stored for harvesting. Adding a large or medium honey super will depend on strength and health of the colony. Larger deep supers can get quite heavy so many choose to go with the mediums. Beekeeping has a way of growing on you even though it is a lot of work, but it’s well worth the effort.
