Meryl Streep Presents the 40th AFI Life Achievement Award to Shirley MacLaine

Actress Meryl Streep (the 2004 Recipient of the AFI Life Achievement Award) presents the 2012 award to Shirley MacLaine. The two co-starred in POSTCARDS FROM THE EDGE, and Meryl speaks about how there are some performers that we "fall early and we fall hard for them," and follow them for the rest of their lives.
