Anthropic just dropped a massive redesign for the Claude Code Desktop App, and the timing couldn't be more suspicious. With rumors swirling that Claude Opus 4.7 is launching this week, this new desktop update feels like the ultimate precursor.

In this video, I take the new Claude Code app for a spin in my organic vibe coding workflow to see if it can replace my daily driver, BridgeSpace. I test out the new side-by-side multi-session views, push the limits of its subagent task manager, and try out the built-in voice commands (Command+D). We also dive into the brand new visual UI for managing skills, connectors, and scheduled agentic cron jobs. Is this the ultimate Codex app killer, or does it still fall short for hardcore agent orchestrators? Let's find out.
