Avaryn taught Amethyst about how to control her powers but while amethyst trying to control her power, something didn't go right, as if Amethyst weren't ready yet to hold such power. After that Avaryn trained Amethyst to be a good physical fighter and also defender.
A few years later, Avaryn reveal a secret that was kept from anyone knows, Amethyst was shocked because she didn't knew that she had a little sister and she's exited to know her more about her little sister Astelle.
Another few years after that, they were gathering to spend time with each other but unfortunately someone or something disturbed it. It was an attack on their kingdom. Avaryn quickly think it through and decided that her younger sisters, Amethyst and Astelle are going to somewhere far from there. Avaryn sent her sister far away, while Avaryn self stay behind and protect her kingdom.

And about the king and queen or parents, is for another time story..
