Abstarct - The passcode-based load control system is an embedded security solution designed for electrical safety grids, ensuring that high-voltage loads are only activated by authorized personnel. If the entered code matches, the Arduino triggers a logic-high signal to a relay driver circuit (typically using a BC547), which then energizes an electromagnetic relay to bridge the AC mains to the load. Conversely, if an incorrect code is provided, the system denies access and can be configured to trigger a buzzer alarm to alert of unauthorized tampering. To ensure electrical isolation between the low-voltage control circuitry and the high-voltage safety grid, optocouplers are often integrated into the relay module. The software logic utilizes the Keypad.h and LiquidCrystal.h libraries to manage input scanning and display multiplexing efficiently.
