Anti-Racist Feminist Organizing in a Transnational World: Tami Navarro

This first event in a three-part speaker series that focuses on the various ways anti-racist feminist methods of organizing are taking shape in an increasingly connected, transnational world, features Tami Navarro, Associate Director, Barnard Center for Research on Women (BCRW) and Editor of the journal “Scholar and Feminist Online.” Professor Navarro examines the ways in which processes of racialization and gendered expectations shape employment opportunities, both historically and at present. Moderated by Banu Ozkazanc-Pan, Professor of Practice at the School of Engineering and Academic Director of the IE Brown Executive MBA program, Brown University.
