HasanAbi reacts to the attempted strike of the NFL in 1987. Thirty years ago, the NFL players went on strike. We had seen it before but never like this. This time the veterans walked out and the owners brought in replacement players. They took guys off the street, put them in uniform, and played three games that actually counted as regular-season games.
In 1987, Philadelphia Eagles coach Buddy Ryan and quarterback Randall Cunningham ran the most unsportsmanlike play in NFL history. The Dallas Cowboys totally deserved it.
