No stranger to opposition, Anam Hashim learnt how to ride the motorbike and eventually became a stunt rider all at the age of 21. Here, she reflects on her journey and experiences, and sends a strong message to all the young people who want to do something different.

Anam Hashim is a professional bike stunt performer and freestyle stunt rider, and India's only female street-bike freestyle athlete. She also runs an organisation to promote Stunt Riding and Adventure Sports in India. She is breaking stereotypes in a male-dominated profession and is a youth icon in her own right.
