Russia Offers MiG-35 fighter aircraft to Malaysian Air Force's!

Russia has also offered MiG-35 fighter aircraft for the Malaysian Air Force's light fighter procurement program. It will compete with India's LCA Mk1A Tejas, Pakistan-China JF-17, France's Dassault Rafale, and the United States' F-16 Viper.
The Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) launched a Request for Proposal (RFP) earlier this year to various manufacturers worldwide for 18 new fighter aircraft (Fighter Lead In Trainer-Light Combat Aircraft, or FLIR-LCA) to replace the MiG-29 aircraft. which has been grounded. The Kingdom of Malaysia said that the deadline for submission of proposals is September 22, 2021.
Malaysian MiG-29s were purchased in the early 1990s to compete with Indonesian F-16s purchased at the same time.
However, Malaysia's MiG-29s had spare parts and were retired in 2018. Some aircraft can still fly but only for ceremonial occasions.
