H Queen Adjustable Base Setup

all Queen and Twin XL,s Moto foundations.

Thank you for purchasing a Moto _________ adjustable base. Proper delivery and set up will insure many years of reliable use. In this tutorial we will review 3 steps; Delivery, Unpacking ,Set up.

Delivery: For safety reasons keep the adjustable foundation in the box while moving it. Make sure 2 people are present at all times to help avoid injury. Carry the adjustable base box to the customers desired location with 1 hand supporting the bottom of the box and the 1 hand stabilizing the top. Lay the box flat.

Unpacking: To avoid damage to the adjustable foundation always open the box while the foundation is laying flat on the floor. Remove all tape and binding straps from the box. Before discarding any packing materials check the box and verify that there are no parts remaining. You will find everything you need inside the box to set up the adjustable foundation. Refer to the Owners manual included in the box for a complete list of parts. Carefully remove the plastic sheet resting on the steal.

Set up:
Step 1. Place the foundation box in a desired location with the bottom of the box facing up. Remove the binding straps and packing materials, making sure not to puncture the box with any sharp objects.

Step 2. Remove the foundation from the box, keeping the bottom of the foundation facing upward for easier access to the bed’s components.

Step 3. To install the legs, thread the bolt of the leg to the nut on the foundation frame, and tighten by hand. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.

Step 4. Locate the backup battery pack and install (2) 9-volt batteries (not included). Store the battery pack in a convenient location for emergency use.

Step 5. Uncoil the input power cord (connected to the control box’s power port) and plug it into the power supply.

Step 6. Uncoil the power cord and connect it to the power supply.

Step 7. Carefully flip the foundation over on its legs.
IMPORTANT: Two people are required to move the foundation. Do not drag across the floor. Do not rest frame on its side; excessive pressure may damage the legs.

Step 8. Plug the foundation into power source. A surge protector is strongly recommended.

Step 9.Ensure that batteries are correctly installed.

Step 10. Locate the mattress retainer bar brackets. Slide the left side of the mattress retainer bar into the bracket. Pull the retainer bar to the opposite bracket and secure the right side.
