Why Indian Leftists Support China OVER India

Indian Leftists and communists have always placed their ideology above India. They displayed that again, after an interview of CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury went viral on social media. He defended China on human rights allegations, free speech, and even the issue of Uyghurs. Thes are all issues that Leftists never forget to abuse India about.
Even after the India-China standoff at Galwan, Communists called the clash an "unfortunate event" and refused to condemn or even name China.
So why do Indian Leftists support China Over India? Because communism isn't much different from Abrahamic religions. Communism simply replaces "God" with "State". to a Communist, their loyalty to a Communist State like China is much more important than their loyalty to a democratic country like India.
