The view paints the city red — but only if you survive the climb, the queues, and the fine print. Here’s the full breakdown so your trip up the Dome is everything the brochure promised.

🎟️ The Brunelleschi Pass — €30, valid 3 days
One ticket, five sights:
• The Dome — 463 steps, no lift, the climb itself. Only sight that needs a timed slot.
• Giotto’s Bell Tower — 414 steps, and the only place on Earth you can photograph the Dome from the outside. Don’t skip this.
• The Baptistery — the gold-mosaic ceiling alone is worth the visit.
• The Duomo Museum — Michelangelo’s last Pietà lives here.
• Santa Reparata — the ancient church buried under the Duomo. Most tourists walk right past the entrance.

Only the Dome needs a fixed slot. Everything else — walk in like you own the place.
