Loose Transparent Watercolor Painting Demonstration "Misty Lake"

This painting was accomplished using transparent watercolors on a quarter sheet ( 11” x 15”) of 140 lb cold press Lanaquarelle watercolor paper. Three colors were used (Sap Green, Royal Blue, Pyrrole Red) . A small amount of masking was applied with a Fineline masking fluid pen. A fine mist spray bottle made by Atelier was used to soften edges and move the paint around. I’m often asked questions about the materials and equipment I use in my painting process.
