Timnas wanita Indonesia mendapatkan bekal penting. Garuda Pertiwi meraih kemenangan besar pada laga uji coba kontra Sri Lanka di Stadion Pakansari, Cibinong, Kabupaten Bogor. Timnas Putri Indonesia menang dengan skor telak 5-0.

Gol-gol kemenangan Indonesia dilesakkan oleh Mayang yang mencetak dua gol, Nisma Francida Rusdiana, Baiq Amiatun, dan Dewi Tiara Safitri. Laga uji coba ini menjadi rangkaian persiapan Timnas Putri Indonesia menuju SEA Games 2019, Manila, Filipina.

PSSI (Football Association of Indonesia) is an organization that takes care of football in Indonesia. PSSI was formed on April 19, 1930, in Yogyakarta with Ir. Soeratin Sosrosoegondo as the first general chairman.

PSSI joined the parent of world football or the so-called FIFA in 1952. Two years later, precisely in 1954 PSSI joined the Asian Football Confederation, namely the AFC.

Since escaping from FIFA sanctions imposed in 2015, PSSI is now rising and starting to fix Indonesian football through a series of innovations to catch up with other soccer federations in the world.

In 2016, PSSI woke up from adversity and continued to train to get up. The quality development and capacity building of Indonesian soccer's human resources have continued to be boosted, ranging from the number of young players, coaches, referees to other football management practitioners.

In 2017, PSSI also began to awaken women's soccer from sleep and continue to develop it. PSSI also encourages the development of youth soccer by creating continuity between the realm of amateur competition, youth competition, and elite competition in Indonesia.
