The key to writing solos that sound melodic is landing on the right notes when the chords change. This is especially true during the "verse" section here (B5, B5, C5, A#5, B5, B5, C5, F5; 0:04-0:36, 0:58-1:30, 1:52-2:24, 2:46-3:18, 3:39-4:11). The B Diminished scale is the one to stick to most rigidly here, but even then, every time we land on the C5 chord you're gonna want to pivot to the B Locrian. When the C5 is followed by A#5, switch back to B Diminished or B Harmonic Minor, as both of these scales include the A# note you'll be drawn to; BUT... when the C5 is followed by F5, try sticking to the B Locrian, then go back to B Diminished for the B5 chord.

This one is tricky, but patience and practice will yield huge results. Try some sweeping arpeggios, such as:

Using notes from the B Diminished scale (over the B5 chords)
--13--10------------------------------10--13--10--
--------------12------------------12--------------------
--------------------11-------11-------------------------
--------------------------12------------------------------
