It's been 10 years since one of the most remarkable rivalries gave birth to the 'Kennett Curse.'

After the 2008 Grand Final, Hawthorn president Jeff Kennett made comments that his Hawks had a mental edge over Geelong in big games. The Cats went on to win the next 11 games in a row against Hawthorn, but it is the manner in which this happened that truly amazed.

Nine of the 11 games were decided by 10 points or less. A nail-biting preliminary final finally broke the hoodoo.
