Using and living with Android Jelly Bean in 2017 - is it obsolete?

YouTube is flooded with people making videos about using, or trying to use, Apple's 2012 release of their mobile OS (iOS 6) today. However, it seems like no one has even thought about looking at the other side and seeing if Google's 2012 release of Android, Jelly Bean, is still usable today.
