1st Alarm Structure Fire with Deploy of Supply Line - Thomaston, ME

Around 2:05pm on Thursday, April 8th, Thomaston and all of the 1st alarm mutual-aid units (list of departments and apparatus below) responded to a confirmed structure fire on New County Road across from Fabian Oil. One fire unit arrived on-scene and confirmed smoke showing. Thomaston Engine 3 and Ladder 2 arrived and Engine 3 stopped to catch the plug and lay in a supply line. The fire was knocked down pretty quickly and then they went into overhaul. New County was closed from Old County to Dexter St and traffic was diverted down Old County. Thomaston Police, Knox County Sheriff, South Thomaston Fire, and Warren Fire assisted with closing the road. About 45 minutes after arrival at the fire, a motorcycle vs car was reported. South Thomaston covered the crash along with Thomaston Ambulance and Police and the motorcyclist was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Taken: 4/8/2021. Thanks for watching!
