Easy and Progressive Pieces No.2 by Catharina Josepha Pratten (1824-1895), also know as Madame Sidney Pratten. Free PDF sheet music, performance, and lesson video for mid-beginner classical guitar. I recommend playing this work after my Method Book Volume 1 or during my Volume 2.

This comes from Pratten's First Set of Easy and Progressive Pieces (thanks to Emma Rush for bringing it to my attention). This is a great piece for working on melodic passages and arpeggios side by side. Born Catharina Josepha Pelzer in Mülheim. She was a German guitarist, composer and teacher. Her father, Ferdinand Pelzer, was German guitarist and music teacher. Later married to the flautist Robert Sidney Pratten, hence the name used in many of her publications.

This is part of a collection of easy supplemental pieces after my free Classical Guitar Method Volume 1. or during my Classical Guitar Method Volume 2. The collection I'm forming will add a few extra pieces for students to play before they move on to my graded series or just for enjoyment and extra practice.
