During the 2009 G8 Summit, Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi suggested dividing Swiss territory among Germany, France and Italy. Moreover in 2010 he called out for an all-out military conflict against Switzerland.
The reason for this beef is that in 2008 Gaddafi's son Hannibal Gaddafi and daughter-in-law were detained in Switzerland for two days for beating their servants at a hotel. This is why in 2009 Hannibal Gaddafi stated that if he had nuclear weapons he would wipe Switzerland off the map.
