MK4 GOLF GTI WHEEL FITTING

In this video I fit some alloy wheels to the MK4 GOLF GTI. There is some information on fitment in the video as there are many different options you can go for when picking wheels and tyres.

The wheels I chose are 3SDM 0.04 alloys in 18" 8.5J width on the front and 9.5J width on the rear. The offset is ET35 all around meaning I need 10mm spacers on the front to maximise clearance from the inside of the wheel to the coilover.

I bought these particular alloys second hand, they came with three new tyres fitted to the wheels however one tyre needs replacing.

After fitting these wheels I realised that to make them fit better on the car I need to lower the front end slightly. In the future I will consider 19" wheels to close the arch gap more without having to go too low on the ride height.
