Vegeta is an abrasive person; his personality is like sandpaper, even to the people he calls friends. However, underneath his angry, grumpy exterior, Vegeta still tends to do the right thing, which means having Goku’s back in battle. Heck, he would help out Goku and stand on the same side as him even before the two could be considered friends. From the Namek Saga to the Buu saga, there are quite a few instances of Vegeta and Goku working together, be it for the former’s personal gain or because he actually wanted to help.

Regardless of the reason, there are plenty of examples of Vegeta having Goku’s back, from the Androids Saga to the Universal Survival Saga and everything in between. In Dragon Ball Z, Vegeta helped Goku by saving him a few times and fusing with him to fight Buu, and in Dragon Ball Super there was the time he caught Goku after his Super Saiyan God battle with Beerus, when he saved him from Golden Frieza, and a few instances when he fought side-by-side with Goku against an enemy.

As you can see, Vegeta fights alongside Goku, helps him out and has his back quite a bit, and in this video, we go through every example of it from Dragon Ball Z to Dragon Ball Super Broly, be it when he was a villain or after he had become a good guy.
