HOW I MOVED TO GERMANY FROM THE US | Study free masters degree at German Universities as an American

How I moved to Germany for University studies back in 2016. University and college is free in Germany for everyone, even Americans. If you are looking into studying abroad, if you don't want to take out tons of student loans, if you don't want to move back in with your parents to pay for tuition, there are other options out there.
I moved for my master's degree back in 2016 and I finished my studies in 2018 although I have stayed here to work since then to pay back the generous taxpayers who allowed me to study for free. I have a lot of thanks to give for such an open-minded country. But it's more forward thinking than that.
Germany offers free university to everyone in the world. This tuition-free model attracts the best minds to come here whether you have a lot of financial resources or not. And many of these masters (and some bachelor) degree programs are in English, so little German is required by the programs (although you will need to learn some to live!).
