Investing in collectible cars: A look at top selling autos

Car collecting has been a hobby for decades and continues to make its mark as, according to a Bring a Trailer report, classic car sales totaled about $1.4 billion in 2023.
Bring a Trailer Founder and CEO Randy Nonnenberg joins Yahoo Finance Live alongside Autos Reporter Pras Subramanian to discuss the collectible car market and why it may be the time for new potential collectors to enter the market.
"There was a big bubble in 2022, people were spending money like crazy on cars, on other things, and 2023 corrected that. And we see the values of the cars to be pretty consistent to where they were in 2023," Nonnenberg says. "So that's going to sort of stabilize as people figure out... what they're doing. The economy has its sort of mixed strengths and weaknesses. But the big change from '22 to '23, we see that we're past that."
