“New Orleans Showdown: Machine Guns in the Hands of Youth vs. Underarmed Police”

We interviewed a young man known as “Problem Child,” who shared his harrowing experience of being shot and the lasting effects of PTSD from the incident. He described how the trauma has left him unable to step outside without the constant fear of hearing machine guns firing in his neighborhood. According to him, the gunfire often continues for an extended time before it finally stops, leaving a lingering sense of danger. He also expressed frustration with the police response, stating that they take far too long to arrive, further contributing to the community’s sense of vulnerability.
