Welcome to Day 26 of the 40-Day Kundalini Yoga Weight Loss Challenge with Mariya Gancheva! Today we will be doing a kriya that is designed to balance the prana and apana forces in the body. Prana is the life force, or the energy that creates and gives us power. Apana is the eliminative force in the body which helps with detoxifying the body and eliminating mental fatigue. Both of these forces need to be in balance in order for our body to be in a state of harmony.

​Sat Nam - truth is my identity. This mantra reinforces the divine consciousness in everyone. It is used as a greeting as well as the mantra for Kundalini Yoga exercises, inhaling Sat (truth), exhaling Nam (name, identity).
