On Thursday, 26th & Friday 27th January 1967, Roy Orbison, the Walker Brothers, the Yardbirds, Johnny Young and the Mixtures played at Festival Hall, Melbourne.

After the show a custom-made Gibson Les Paul loaned to Yardbirds guitarist Jimmy Page for the tour by Keith Richards is stolen, as well as a Fender guitar belonging to Mixtures guitarist Laurie Arthur.
