MIDORI MELON BALL DROP - Is this too sweet for you?

The Melon Ball Drop cocktail showcases the Japanese melon liqueur, Midori. Whilst it is a sweet cocktail the citrus does help balance out the drink and the fresh melon flavours are accompanied by a lingering elderflower note. This creation is derived from the Melon Ball cocktail which comprises of Midori melon liqueur, vodka and freshly squeezed orange juice then garnished with melon balls (watermelon, cantaloupe and/or honeydew).

INGREDIENTS
- 60mL Midori Melon Liqueur (2 oz)
- 30mL Vodka (1 oz)
- 15mL Elderflower Liqueur (½ oz)
- 15mL Fresh Lemon Juice (½ oz)

METHOD
1. Combine all the ingredients into your cocktail shaker
2. Shake with ice
3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass with sugar rim
4. Garnish with melon balls
