Alesis has finally released the successor to the Alesis Sample-Pad Pro, and it's pretty interesting. I've gathered the top 15 features the Strike Multi-pad has in this edrum news recap.

My favorite features are the fact that you can customize the lights. Set it to show how long the sample has left, click in time with the music, and whatever color you want. It has a large screen which I love, although I am worried that it may not be incredibly durable when compared to smaller LCD screens. There's 32 GB of storage, and 7000 internal sounds. Every port you will need, and tons of sound editing features inside. My only concern is that we don't know how durable it is yet. Other pads on the market last for years, we'll have to see how this one holds up. But all in all, this is an impressive offering from Alesis.
