Metro Detroit faces a series of strong to severe thunderstorms beginning Tuesday, with damaging winds, large hail, heavy rainfall, and a slight chance of an isolated tornado. Showers and storms will continue through Friday, with temperatures dropping into the 40s midweek before rebounding into the 60s and 70s by the weekend, though rain chances persist into Easter Weekend. Cooler, drier weather is expected to return early next week.
