Xcartoys - Great Walk Tank 300 4K

Introduced in July 2020 at the Chengdu Auto Show, the Tank 300 is the first vehicle built on Great Wall Motors’ “Tank” platform. Initially launched as the Wey Tank 300, it went on sale in China on December 17, 2020. By April 2021, GWM established TANK as a standalone brand, with the Tank 300 as its inaugural model.

The Tank 300 boasts a ground clearance of 224 mm, with approach and departure angles of 33 and 34 degrees respectively. It features a double wishbone front suspension and a multi-link coilover rear suspension. Sharing its ladder-frame chassis with the Great Wall Pao pickup, it offers locking front and rear differentials, low-range gearing, an off-road creep mode, and a “tank turn” function.

In China, the Tank 300 is available in editions like City, Off-Road, Ranger, Wind Forest Iron Cavalry, Yunliang, and Cyberpunk. The limited-run Cybertank Edition, previewed in April 2021, includes a wide body kit, flared wheel arches, a roof solar panel, Y-shaped LED daytime running lights, a hood scoop, and a unique spare wheel cover. Only 3,000 units were produced.

Another limited model is the Yunliang, with just 300 units released in mid-2021. Developed with Yunliang 4×4, it features adjustable nitrogen shock absorbers, a snorkel, a redesigned front bumper with a winch, and BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires. The Frontier Edition was announced in June 2022.
