Nick Hoffmann
This was a very hard video for me to make. Nick was tragically taken away from us in December of 2011. I have known Nick since 2008 and have filmed him at many automotive events. After his passing, I couldn't help but dig through my footage and look at all the fond memories.
I was happy to find so many clips of nick enjoying himself and his vehicles at these event.
The beginning footage of the travel to Brainerd was originally intended to go in a behind the scenes video I was going to create. But when I never got around to creating the video in a timely manner, I decide I would hold the footage for more of a promo video for the 2012 event in Brainerd. Obviously, now I've decide it was more appropriate to show it in this video instead.
When I first met Nick he was the proud owner of a Red SRT-4, and as you can probably see in some of the footage, it was his early stages of driving at autocrosses. Soon enough, he was the proud owner of a Mitsubishi EVO VIII, which he used to improve his driving skills at autocrosses and high performance driving events. Nicks final upgrade was to one of the cleanest gray evo IX's I have ever seen!
This video is intend to highlight the fun we had with Nick at these events. However, I feel this video can't help but show how nice and helpful Nick was.
My thoughts and Prayers go out to all his family and friends.
