Range Rover L322 M62 V8 exhaust modification: Cold Start with three blips.

Tired of the factory stainless muffler for everyday use, I wanted to set the big quad cam 48 valve M62 V8 free so I had a set of custom SS resonators built with exhaust pipe flanges welded in position so I could re-fit the factory muffler in just 10 minutes for extreme off-road four wheel drive use.

Complete with a K&N air filter, this magnificent 2.25 tonne HSE not only relishes in the increased mid range torque, it also achieves a steady 25 MPG (11L/100) on the freeway at just 2500 RPM in 5th gear/120Km/hour.

(if you're wondering about the different water vapors exiting from the L/R pipes, the right hand side has just had a new pair of Cat. Converters fitted)
