Get Your Next Dividend Payment for your Own Dividend Tracker PART 4 | #205 (Python for Finance)
This is the fourth video in my Build Your Own Dividend Tracker with Python series. As a recap, in Part 1 - I showed how to start using the yahoo-fin library as a replacement to #yfinance and how to get your estimated portfolio value and dividends for stocks. In Part 2, I showed how to estimate those dividends by quarter and then I temporarily displayed it using matplotlib. In Part 3, I was finally able to get dividend information my mutual funds.
In this video, I show how to get your next dividend payment by finding the dividend dates and then comparing it to the closest to today.
