Forget pumpkin spiced latte PSL, this Braised Pork Spare Ribs with Pumpkin 南瓜炆排骨 is perfect for this season when pumpkins are everywhere!! Kabocha squash is a type of Japanese pumpkin and it is packed with amazing health benefits! It is a good source of iron, vitamin C and B! I like to slowly cook the pumpkin with pork spare ribs because these two ingredients complement each other so well!! Give this Chinese Braised Pork Spare Ribs with Pumpkin dish a try for this perfect FALL SEASON!!!

Ingredients & Price:
• 1 kabocha squash - $2.50 (seasoned with 0.5 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of oil)
• 1 pound of pork spare ribs - $4 (marinated with 1.5 tsp of salt, 2 tsp of sugar & corn starch, 1 tbsp of rice cooking wine & soy sauce)
• 1 tbsp of oyster sauce
• 1 tbsp of bean sauce
• 5 cloves of minced garlic
• 6 slices of ginger
• 10 grams of yellow cane sugar

Portion:
This dish feeds 4 people! I like to cook a lot for dinner and meal prep it for my husband's lunch the next day! :)
