Tech Repair: NES Cap Replacement, Trace Corrosion, Edge Connector Repair
Here we have an NES with a few problems. The capacitors inside the RF/AV/Power box are leaking and corroding the underside of the circuit board. The 72 pin edge connector on the motherboard has bad pitting on some of the fingers which causes the 72 pin connector to make a poor connection. And there is trace/joint corrosion of the underside of the motherboard in several places.
