Calico Critters play at 16 months

This is a longer video of the "toy edit" to put "stuff" in containers. It shows more play. The other video is just the basics of the container.
This video was inspired when my sister in law called and asked me where to take my 16 old month nephew. I said- let me look at my archive videos to see what we were doing when my granddaughter was the same age. I decided to pack up toys for her- but since I am committed to doing my home make over applying the principles of The Home Edit- I decided to revist the same play I observed but make sure the container reflected my observations. The idea is to make the chaos of toys "pretty to look at" and make sure to pack things to enhance independent play and maximize your investment in expensive toys. With planning- it is easier to encourage independent age appropriate play- note the wine box- it was the surface to make sure she could reach all the toys. Enjoy.
