Project 780 documents the complete transformation of a Les Paul through a full 100% nitrocellulose refinish in Aged Bourbon Burst, followed by a carefully executed hand-aged relic process.

The finish is applied in thin, resonant layers to preserve the natural response of the wood while revealing the depth and warmth of the burst. Once cured, the guitar is aged entirely by hand: worn edges, subtle checking, softened contours, and surface textures that reflect decades of authentic playing.

Every step follows traditional finishing methods, with no artificial shortcuts. The goal is not to simulate age, but to recreate the visual and tactile presence of a well-played vintage Les Paul.
