Anoushka Shankar explains the Sitar to the members of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra

Thirty-four musicians of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra gathered in a rehearsal room on New Yorks Upper West Side to meet sitar virtuoso, Anoushka Shankar.

Working together, they have given life to the world premiere of Ravi Shankars newest composition Concerto No. 3 for Sitar and Orchestra.

Filmmakers Chris and Alex Browne captured this collaboration as Indian and Western classical music combine.
