NBA Jam was perhaps one of the most popular and influential arcade games of all time, generating over 1 billion dollars in revenue when it released in 1993. It's infamous 'rubberbanding' code would keep scores tight but was criticized for being too heavy handed. In this episode we dissect the NBA Source code and learn its secrets of how computer players or drones, cheat in order to take the lead and secure victory.
