TiEcon 2014: How to get seed funding for your startup

There have never been more options for early stage entrepreneurs to raise money to launch their companies. While the traditional venture capital firm has arguably moved upstream in what they are funding, the corporates angels, and seed funds are active and filling the gap. In addition, new models of raising money are available such as crowdfunding and AngelList. This session will discuss fundraising for startups, including what business models and sectors are being funded, and what qualities are investors looking for, as well as the process of how to go about fundraising today.
