HMS Somerset goes back to sea for the first time in 4 years
After lengthy refit, HMS Somerset finally sailed from Devonport on 24/3/22 to begin sea trials.
The LIFEX refit will see her serve until around 2031. She was not fitted with the new engines (PMGU) during this time but received Sea Ceptor, various other upgrades and underwent a complete refurbishment.
