Part 2 of the Sonos Arc TV compatibility review. This is not a regular Sonos Arc review telling the world how great it is. It is meant to explore how we as regular users use it and challenges in getting it to work the way it’s been advertised to work.

The Sonos Arc has been touted to be the future of soundbars for Sonos, delivering Atmos 3D surround sound to all Sonos lovers around the world. But is the world ready for the Sonos Arc? Is the technology and eco-system ready? Is the HDMI ARC specification ready? In fact, the burning question remains, is your TV ready? The fact is, even if your TV has a HDMI ARC port and has Dolby Digital+ bitstream output, it might not be compatible with the Sonos Arc to deliver Atmos sound. What is the missing ingredient? Let’s find out in this video.
